Research at the forefront

At Leeds Beckett University we are committed to building our reputation and research profile; within our region, nationally and internationally. With over 600 academic staff we cover a wide range of research disciplines.

In the last Research Assessment Exercise, the ‘quality, reach and significance’ of much of our research was rated as ‘world-class’. We are continuing to expand and enhance our research base through our Institutes and Centres, creating a strong and sustainable research environment for our staff and students.

We have strong commercial links and our research is applied directly to industry, giving practical solutions and innovations to businesses; and we add value to the local economy through education, research and knowledge transfer.

Here you will find links to a dedicated series of web pages focusing on selected themes and comprising a range of relevant information and including institutional research outputs.

If you have an idea for a themed collection of research outputs please contact us.
