LGBT History Month: Welcome

National Inclusion Week and LGBT History Month

To mark National Inclusion Week (23-28 September) Leeds Beckett is collaborated with the University of Leeds to promote a series of events to celebrate and highlight the history, events and people that have influenced the LGBT+ heritage in Leeds.

This page also celebrates LGBT History Month; a national event every February for people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender. The theme in 2018 was Geography: Mapping the World

There were Campus Pride events held by the Student's Union with a selection of panels, debates, activities and a community marketplace.

Leeds Beckett University is committed to equality and fairness for our student body and workforce. We celebrate diversity as a key strength. We actively promote a positive learning and working environment that is free from discrimination, harassment or victimisation.

This web page brings you just some of the Library resources available to students and highlights the research of Leeds Beckett staff in this area.
