Borrowing and Returning Resources

Please use the self service machines on the ground floor of each Library for borrowing and returning resources:

  • you need your Campus Card and PIN to borrow from the Library but you can return your loans without them
  • remember to keep your receipt - it's your responsibility to know when your loans are due back and return or renew them on time
  • our security system will be triggered if you leave with resources that haven't been borrowed
  • you can return your loans to either campus (except Interlibrary Loans and Short Loans)
  • if you can't get to the Library to borrow, you may be able to use our Pay-to-Post service to have items posted to you
  • if the Library doesn't have the books you need you may be eligible to use our Interlibrary Loans service
