Welcome to the Leeds Beckett Library web pages for Visitors and Guests.
Registered Guest Users and SCONUL Access Scheme members can use the Library between 08:30 and 19:00 - please bring your Guest User or SCONUL Card with you. Overnight access is for Leeds Beckett students and staff only (Campus Cards required).
Visitors are also welcome to enter the Sheila Silver Library 08:30-12:00 (and may then remain until 19:00) but need to bring physical photo ID to receive a day pass. From 12:00-19:00 no additional visitors will be allowed to enter the Library.
Please note: during certain times of the year these access arrangements will apply throughout the day. Further information will be available on this web page and on notices in the Library entrance.
Visitors can currently use Headingley Library 08:30-19:00.
If you would like to borrow books you need to register as a Guest User - see below.
Licensing restrictions means Guest Users aren't able to use our PCs or electronic resources but you can bring in your own laptop and use the wireless network. Guest Users from participating universities can use the eduroam wi-fi service.
Reference (Band R) access visitors do not need to apply for Guest User status.
You should however bring your student ID and have your Sconul ‘Access approved email’ with you or available on your mobile device in the event of being asked whilst visiting
