Study spaces in the Libraries must be booked in advance and are only available for students who are legally allowed to access campus:
Both Libraries are arranged into 'areas' with study spaces available in all areas. In general these are by floor and if there is a PC available.
The Government recommends that students take two free lateral flow tests for Covid-19 before they use any campus facilities, bookable via MyHub. Full details are available on the University's Coronavirus webpages.
Please follow the guidance on hands, space and face whilst on campus and wear your face covering at all times, including whilst studying.
To book a space follow the links below. Follow the instructions and make sure you confirm your booking by clicking on the "Submit my booking" button at the end of the process. You will receive an email confirming your booking and a reminder 24 hours before your booking time.
Due to the current level of Covid-19 restrictions you won't be able to browse the bookshelves. If you want to borrow books please use our Click & Collect service.
If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help, 24/7; just use the Contact Us buttons on the right.
If the fire alarm sounds please leave the Library immediately by the nearest fire exit. Do not use the lifts.
"Safe havens" are designated for people with mobility difficulties.
The Library card access system records information from Campus Cards when you enter the Libraries.
In order to assist the NHS COVID-19 Test and Trace service we will keep a temporary electronic record of your contact details for 21 days.
