These briefings will be useful for you if you have arrived late and missed the initial induction period.
The session will cover the many academic skills resources and services available to support assignments, highlighting key sources of guidance.
Do you speak English as an additional language and want to feel more confident? Come along to these practical sessions and you will learn how to improve your speaking. You will get feedback on your English from an experienced language teacher and the chance to ask any questions about the English Language.
An informal opportunity for you to meet Academic Skills Tutors and Academic Librarians to discuss how you are finding your course and ask any additional questions. The cafés will revisit key topics from the ISAI module and give further tips on these.
All cafés will be held online via MS Teams.
Skills for Learning workshops and events are mixture of live sessions and on-demand recordings.
The Library has events running for all students throughout Welcome Week (15th - 19th September), such as tours and chats over a hot drink. More information here.
