Our Academic Skills: How to Succeed as an International Student session will explain what academic skills are and why they are the key to higher marks and academic success. It will also explain the different types of support available to you and how to access this support.
These briefings will be useful for you if you have arrived late and missed the initial induction period.
The session will cover the many academic skills resources and services available to support assignments, highlighting key sources of guidance.
An informal opportunity for you to meet Academic Skills Tutors and Academic Librarians to discuss how you are finding your course and ask any additional questions. The cafés will revisit key topics from the ISAI module and give further tips on these.
All cafés will be held at City Campus, Sheila Silver Library, LSB104.
