February Briefing Sessions

These briefings will be useful for you if you have arrived late and missed the initial induction period.

The session will cover the many academic skills resources and services available to support assignments, highlighting key sources of guidance.

International Study Cafes

An informal opportunity for you to meet Academic Skills Tutors and Academic Librarians to discuss how you are finding your course and ask any additional questions. The cafés will revisit key topics from the ISAI module and give further tips on these.

All cafés will be held at City Campus, Sheila Silver Library, LSB104.

  • Tuesday 4th March, 12:00 – 13:00. Focus on Reading Lists and Using the Library.
  • Thursday 13th March, 12:00 – 13:00. Focus on Reading and Note-Making.
  • Tuesday 18th March, 12:00 – 13:00. Focus on Critical Thinking and Academic Writing.
  • Thursday 27th March, 12:00 – 13:00. Focus on Academic Integrity.

Skills for Learning workshops and events are mixture of live sessions and on demand recordings.
