Your Academic Librarian also supports your studies through:

• Academic liaison — working with your course team to ensure that the Library has the resources you need.
• Collection development — selecting, purchasing and developing resources to support your course.
• Teaching — library inductions, specialist sessions and one-to-one appointments.
• Research support — helping students and researchers make best use of available information sources.

For specific help with academic skills, students can book up to two, 30 minute one-to-one appointments with an Academic Librarian or Academic Skills tutor per semester.
