Box of Broadcasts (BoB) is an online TV and radio recording service. You can choose and record any broadcast programme from over 65 TV and radio channels. The recorded programmes are then kept indefinitely and added to a growing media archive of over 2 million programmes.

Logging into BoB

You may only access or use BoB in the United Kingdom. If you are in another country the licence and associated exceptions in law do not apply and you may not access BoB content, even if you are an authorised user in the UK.

British Library Sounds is an online digital resource of music and spoken word from the British Library's holdings.

Desktop DJ is a digitised copy of every UK Top 40 hit since November 1952, the US Hits 100 and further substantial collections of Pop, Jazz, Country, Film Soundtracks, Stage Shows, Classical and Comedy Music sections. You will need a Special Password to access Desktop DJ.

Music Industry Data, formerly known as Academic Charts Online (ACO), measures the impact of music across countries and cultures.  It enables evidence based research across all genres from pop to classical, jazz and world music.

Naxos Music Library is the world´s largest online classical music library. Currently, it offers streaming access to more than 97,360 CDs with more than 1,413,500 tracks of both standard and rare repertoire. Over 800 new CDs are added to the library every month.

Independent Radio brings together archives of drama, music and news from independent local radio from 1973 to 1996.
