This guide is designed as a starting point for exploring research about Law. In each of the tabs, you'll find a variety of information resources which have been selected as a good starting point for research in that area.
Discover is your academic search engine, allowing you to quickly search for a broad range of material in your topic area. Some resources are not yet searchable on Discover however, so you may also want to search separately on Lexis Library and Westlaw if you are searching for case law and legislation. However Discover can help you find books, and other journal articles, which might be useful if you are researching material for an extended essay or dissertation.
There is a Finding Information page on Skills for Learning which tells you about different types of sources and how to search them. It explains what searching techniques there are so that you can find the most relevant information for your needs. It also has tips on saving results and how to evaluate your sources.
