Key reference materials

If you want to research a building or a person you should try using the Oxford Reference collection, which will give you a quality description and overview:

Request a book

Staff and students can request new academic books for the Library to buy.

This requesting service is only for books needed for individual study/research or to diversify the Library collection.

Check out the Request a Book page to find out more about the service.

National Building Specification

NBS is a UK-based system of construction specification used by architects and other building professionals to describe the materials, standards and workmanship of a construction project. It is available online to students within the School of Built Environment, Engineering & Computing via the Remote App.
